Writing, storytelling and social sharing feature heavily in healing through online support (Boggs et al, 2014, Knaevelsrud et al, 2007, Lange et al, 2003, Bradley et al, 2005). I am keen to invite those with a view, opinion or a lived experience of workplace well being (good or bad) to share their thoughts on this blog either openly or anonymously (whilst protecting the confidentiality of others). Each new entry is a valuable contribution to new knowledge, and may facilitate the mutual healing of readers, increase rates of understanding this research topic and reduce stigma.

Please contact me if you feel able to contribute your thoughts.

  1. I have suffered from mental illness for most of my life in many forms. I am 43 now and well. I am at a point where I feel compelled to share my story so it may help others who are suffering and their friends and families. My plan is to blog and hopefully talk at various events. If you have any tips, advice and / contacts that would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to write my first blog shortly and have created a blog page @ I look forward to your comments. Daniel.

  2. Hello, interesting blog. Did you see the recent statistic about staff working for IAPT? Over 50% said they were depressed…I’ve written for The Guardian before on a similar issue, I’d be happy to collaborate if it would be helpful.
